I’m a lifestyle writer, interior stylist and communications consultant based in Scotland.

I’ve spent more than 25 years working across communications and media, specialising in travel and hospitality. I work with hotels, restaurants, destinations and tourism businesses to build their profile, shape their positioning and tell their stories.

Alongside this, I write about travel and interiors, with my features published regularly in The Scotsman and Scottish Field.

I hold a Diploma in Interior Design from the British Academy of Interior Design, and my home was featured on Scotland’s Home of the Year. My approach to interiors is rooted in a strong sense of place – creating calm, characterful spaces that connect with their surroundings through colour, texture, materials and detail. It has also given me another way of looking at the places I have spent much of my career writing about and working with – not simply how they look, but how they feel, and the character and atmosphere that make them unique.
